Ample space for up to 2 adults:
The inflatable touring kayak is designed for two – even very tall – adults or for parents with a child. Of course, the kayak can also be paddled alone. The long hull offers enough space – also for luggage. In addition, up to two dogs can easily be taken along in the boat. Our resilient Drop-Stitch material is impervious to dog claws.
For coastal waters, lakes and rivers:
The California Duo is ideally suited for day trips on lakes and the sea. It is also suitable as a touring boat for one-day or multi-day river tours.
Stable and extremely robust:
The high side walls ensure dry paddling, and the widened bottom increases basic stability. Its construction makes the inflatable kayak extremely stable even in strong waves! The 3-season kayak glides almost without resistance on the water and makes the inflatable boat a top model in our kayak selection.
With bow and stern deck:
The standard bow and stern decks offer ample storage space for luggage and protect against splash water. The boat comes with an additional rigid spray guard for the bow deck. Bungees on both decks offer additional space for luggage.
Proven Drop-Stitch construction:
Thanks to the Drop-Stitch PVC construction of the boat bottom and walls, an operating pressure of 0.7 bar can be achieved – in contrast to conventional inflatable boats with only 0.2 to 0.3 bar. This makes the two-person kayak very dimensionally stable and extremely resistant.
Small pack size and quick setup:
Due to its small pack size and quick setup time, the California Duo is the perfect travel companion – and fits in any car or motorhome.
Rudder system:
The kayak is equipped with rudder preparation and comes in a set with a rudder system. This allows the rudder system available from us to be attached in a few minutes and without tools. If the boat is paddled by two people, the system facilitates steering: currents and wind can be easily compensated for without having to correct with the two double paddles.
Boat cover and spray decks:
This set also includes a boat cover and suitable spray decks. All-round Velcro fastening and two large Bigdeck hatches protect paddlers from splash water and bad weather. In conjunction with the included precise rudder system, the California Duo becomes a full-fledged expedition boat.
Complete set with boat and accessories:
As standard, in addition to the boat, extensive accessories are included: The Verano backpack trolley with zipper and rolling and carrying system ensures easy transport. The two kayak double paddles with fiberglass shafts and a length of 240 cm are detachable (4-piece). Thanks to the included double-action high-pressure pump, the desired operating pressure is reached within a few minutes. Finally, a repair kit is also included in the package.
Further product features:
The California Duo comes standard with two comfort seats with removable seat elevation and back pocket, as well as two comfortable footrests. At both ends of the boat there are durable neoprene carrying handles. A drain plug allows easy drainage of splash water. Three high-pressure screw valves at the stern of the boat serve for convenient and quick filling or emptying of the three air chambers. A removable central fin supports the straight-line tracking of the kayak.
Warranty and support:
We provide a 2-year Verano manufacturer's warranty on all our inflatable boats. This warranty covers manufacturing defects that the inflatable already showed at the time of purchase. In addition, our after-sales team offers customer support after purchase.
